Coming Soon

Man, I'm so slow.

I plan a thing with Han and Lando, and get scooped (based on the same picture).

I plan to start guest-posting with a 1337-speakin' R2, and 1337-speak shows up on Yoda's blog.

OK, new plan: I'm going to actually mention what I'm planning, just in case. It's the Coming Soon thread, so we don't accidentally step on each other's toes.

Rebecca says there's a Threepio blog on the way (so I can finally take that out of my rolling-description).

I have friends that might join up as Lando and Ki-Adi-Mundi.

Anyone else have up-and-coming news?

Probably old news, but I see that Jedi Master Tahl has started a blog. Tahl is Qui-Gon's woman from the "Jedi Apprentice" series. They're both dead, so they ought to get along fine...

I was planning to have all the characters stranded on this mysterious island after their airplane crashes. Anyway, there's this monster, and polar bears, and a hatch, and the characters are constantly having flashbacks to their lives before the island...Say, no one's ever heard of anyone doing anything like that before have they?

Seriously, Phoenix, I don't think having a l33t-speaking R2 would be seen as ripping off my material. I think it would be funny.

I think if you want to post ideas for upcoming blog entries, you should put them in the SWU forum, not on this blog.

I also agree that carrying on your own interpretation of an idea that someone else has come up with is not stealing.

After all, everything looks differrent, froma certain point of view...

I play mine day-by-day: They're usually spur of the moment (except for Aayla's 4-part rescue saga).

I don't even have any idea what's going to happen with me at the Jedi temple later on today when I write it at lunch, but it'll likely be goofy as usual.

I do have one possible post (saved as a draft) about memories from a party at Yoda's but I've kicked it around and re-dated it several times and gotten nowhere with it, so it may never actually surface.

No access to the forum for me, so I'll apologize here in advance for not always posting according to any set schedule.

Han, I hope I wasn't your spoiler!

Ditto the day-by-day thing. Mostly I've just been responding to what's going on with other people. *shrug* If I come up with a good idea for something else, I'll post it here, but for right now until I get into the swing of things, I probably won't be taking a great deal of "on my own" action.

You were, but it's OK. That just CRIES OUT to be used! Meh, you did almost exactly the same thing I was going to do, I just wasn't quite ready. :-)

Why don't you have access to the forum?

I'm also almost day-to-day when writing. I love bouncing off the ideas of everyone else. I've got to say, all of you just crack me up. You all are just so freekin' funny!

Anyway, the only thing I've got down the road are a few guest posts I'm going to try to do while J.J. takes a little nap.
First up is Watto.

I'm trapped behind an evil corporate filter.

Feel free to use and re-use anything I post, or put same source pic in different light. I'd be excited to see other spins.

..and I'd hate to think I stymied anything anyone else has come up with.

No worries. :-P

Have you tried...

Anonymous Browsing Quick-Start Page?

Big Daikon's FAQ?

Coral Cache?

It puts a smack-down on those anonymizers/translators, too.

Thanks anyway

It's usually day-by-day for me too.

Regarding everyone being funny Eric(JJ), I still laugh shamelessly when I think about the word "Dookulax".
