I did spell Phoenix wrong, once, so I'm quite sure that this is enough to keep me out of the "ultimate site.". Good luck with it, though, as I'm sure you'll make a killing by excluding those of us who don't fit into your "general" profile. The rest of us "hacks" will just have to continue to hen-peck the keyboard with adventurous tales of board games and pajama parties. A word of warning to you administrators- never allow anyone into your ring who might have a different spin or approach, as this can only lead to envy and miscontent(See Third Reich, 1933). Let's face it, we can't allow such diversity, especially when we're promoting free-thinking and creativity. The republic has now become an empire, and I'm sure this is all for the greater good of us peasants. Goodbye, Bill and Corben!

I'm sure you are glad to be rid of your biggest threat, even if you won't admit it.

My spirit shall remain, however, as it's a persistent SOB.

Lars- out for good!

Everyone okay?

Normally, I wouldn't clog this place up, but with Katrina wrecking havoc all over the eastern seaboard, I wanted to make sure everyone was safe and sound. If you're in one of the danger areas, or have loved ones who are, my thoughts and good wishes are with you.

Goals and Such [Please Read]

Early on and shortly after the creation of this blog, I posted a question to everyone, inquiring about goals and aspirations. The vast majority of our members here stated that they didn't really have goals, that they were doing this solely for fun. That's cool. Very cool. Writing should be fun, whether it's about Star Wars or Astro-Physics. I think it's great that all of you enjoy this.

As some of you may remember, I and a few others mentioned aspirations towards writing professionally, and perhaps making our Internet presence at least somewhat lucrative. As our membership has increased, a few others have joined us who have also expressed these goals. In fact, a couple of them have actually written professionally before.

In line with those goals, a couple of days ago a few of us decided to start a new professional-looking blog which will serve the purpose of attracting the attention of potential publishers and driving traffic to our prospective blogs.

Does that mean that we're excluding the rest of you? Not at all! Once the blog is ready, and once we post the guidelines for membership, you are all welcome to apply if you're interested. More on how to do that later. We haven't included everyone in the planning stage (which is where we are now), because it would just be too chaotic to have 30 people try to decide together on things like blog color-schemes and posting guidelines.

Does that mean you will all want to belong to the other blog? Probably not. Remember, it's designed with very specific goals in mind. There will also be very strict guidelines for membership including the requirement for members to post at least once a week, to have a strong command of the English language, and to be very careful about the use of proper grammar and spelling. Along that line, not everyone who applies will be accepted.

Are we breaking up the band? No! We all consider ourselves a part of Star Wars: Unplugged. We love you guys and want to continue writing with you and hanging out together in cyberspace. Our little group has almost become like family (family squabbling included). We'll still pop in here from time to time and post. You'll still see us in the comments of your blogs. Nothing is really changing. We're just adding a new element that will help some of us further our careers.

Now for my real intro (Dramatic music, please)

Now that I have introduced my blog-character, Jar Jar, twin o' Jar Jar, I'll introduce myself. Sorry for the unneccesary abundance of introductions I have posted, I got kinda confused so I introduced myself ICly before. Now it's time for my introduction in OOC. You've probably realized that by now actually, I promise I won't say it again. My first name is Theo, short for Theodore, but if you call me Theo---- then there will be consequences, so for your own sake, don't ;). Um...Lets see...My interests....This is a hard one, gimme a second....Okay I got it! My interests come in the forms of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Acting, Star Wars, Baseball, Star Wars, Soccer, Star Wars, Animating with Flash, Star Wars, Writing, Star Wars, Moviemaking, aaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnd Star Wars. Now that I got that over with, let me tell you some other things. I'm from New York City, um, lets see, oh right, you wanted me to tell you why I created a Star Wars blog. The answer is simple. I read Yoda's blog a few days and I was like duuuuude, I should do this. So I created my account (MrBinks) and emailed Yoda to ask him if he didn't mind me creating another Star Wars blog. He said yes, and I was like, 'whoopeee' (literally). So I immediatley cliked on that cool orange button 'Create a blog' and I made 'The Life of Jar Jar'. So that's that. And umm...I dunno what else to tell you. So, Aufviederzen (sp?)

-Jar Jar

Forgot something

I was told to pick a time frame and I think the best time is right about the time the Clone Wars start. I hope this works for everyone.
Going to bed now -its late.

The Person Behind Noel

Hello everyone -- I got a comment from Yoda saying I should tell more about myself.

Well here it goes:

My name is Rachelle but everyone calls me Chelley, I'm 25 ,and live in Wisconsin-United States. I decided to join because-well my real life is pretty boring and this way I can pretend to be someone else with a more exciting life.

To tell you the truth I never cared for Star Wars too much until my boyfriend made me go see Revenge of the Sith. And I've loved it ever since. I have to say that I may be one of the few people who liked Jar-Jar in the first movie. And I especially liked General Grievous in ROTS. Once I learned of his past I thought it was sad with what happened to him. And that's how I happened to come across this blog . Once I seen how much fun people were having being someone else, I had to join.

My character actually happened to come from a dream I had one night. I don't remember much from the original dream since I have changed and added so much to it --to fill in details. I always have a habit of doing this: If I remember a dream and if it's interesting I add to it and make up little stories. This is my first tempt however, to write it down.

I hope you enjoy her story and I hope to make some new friends. I try and post everyday-if I'm not busy doing wedding stuff. Yeaa I'm getting married in a month--well less then a month actually. This blog helps keep my mind off it, other wise I fear I would be a complete basket case. Worrying about if it's all going to go ok . Well I got to go my fiance (I think that's how you spell it) will be home soon and I still need to get a grocery list ready---were going shopping .

I have to say one more thing before I go. I was shopping at the mall earlier today with my Sisters and Mom and I seen the cutest baby clothes. Even though I don't plan on having kids for awhile I had to buy them. They were those jumper outfits. One had a Darth Vader mask on the front and said "Who's your daddy". The other had a picture of Chewey on the front and said " Mommys little monster". Both had Star Wars written on the bottom area. They were sooooo cute even my fiance thought they were cute. Now I can"t wait to have kids. But first I have to get a bigger house --then I can have them.

Sorry I got alittle side tracked but I just had to tell everyone:-)

Hello I'm new here

Hello everyone I'm new here and I really hope you enjoy my character.
She's not a real Star Wars character but that's why she's so interesting. The story however is based on Star Wars.

Well that all for now---my internet is being kind of stupid this weekend. It seems to be disconnecting when ever it wants to. But don't worry I'll be calling the cable company tomorrow to get it fixed.

I just wanted to say hi and hopefully get a warm welcome:-)

My famous cheesecake recipe

Don't say I never did anything for you!

1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup water
2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium bowl, mix together cookie crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
In a saucepan, combine raspberries, 2 tablespoons sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to boil, and continue boiling 5 minutes, or until sauce is thick. Strain sauce through a mesh strainer to remove seeds.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt white chocolate chips with half-and-half, stirring occasionally until smooth.
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in vanilla and melted white chocolate. Pour half of batter over crust. Spoon 3 tablespoons raspberry sauce over batter. Pour remaining cheesecake batter into pan, and again spoon 3 tablespoons raspberry sauce over the top. Swirl batter with the tip of a knife to create a marbled effect.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until filling is set. Cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 8 hours before removing from pan. Serve with remaining raspberry sauce.

A letter from Pheonix (not Arizona)

Somebody named Pheonix just sent me a private E-mail in which he told me to stop posting on this site. He said too many posts are from me, and that this isn't the forum to discuss Star Wars blogging. Excuse me? What IS this site, then? I'm sorry, but I don't get this at all. Could someone help explain this to me? Am I being cast out? Can I never post here again, and if so, what about? Honestly- am I losing my mind?

BTW, the tone of the letter was a bit rude. I don't think that was necessary.

Everyone seems to have one of those accounts. How do you get one anyway? I've tried searching Google but all they tell you is how it works, etc. Anyone know?

A Request

Everyone begging for traffic.

Please stop.

1) This is not the appropriate place for it.
2) I think we get enough spam in the comments, don't you?

Thank you for your time.

Grand Moff Tarkin

I know he only posts about twice a week, but Matt's Tarkin site is about the funniest thing around. It's very subtle, almost like British humor, but something very vibrant and pulsating always seems to exist at the bottom of every humorous message. I know Matt quite well, and am not writing this on his behalf, but rather, on yours. If you're not seeing the genius inside the message, you may not be looking hard enough. He doesn't mind a comment, or two, from time to time, either.

I'm Back.

Sorry that I was gone. It was necessary, believe me, but it is now over. I promise never to abandon my brethren again (unless the price is right). There's a new post...and it's deranged as ever...sick, twisted, and ticklish as you all hope it'll be!...Ticklish? What's that?

BTW...These are my cousins... I'm placing them in your care...Treat them well...Have the protocol cousin mind's erased...

Oh, my...!

As you guys know, I work hard on occasions. When I got this site together it was hard! Now I am working hard again on making a movie. It is a slideshow and I will put it on the site. Don't worry, it is totally Star Wars related. And we could totally get popular because of the site. I will need to use pictures that people make for it (ecspecially jawa juice!) I hope you guys like it. It will come out later tonight!

New Blogger Feature to Help Lessen Spam Comments

I know you guys are fed up with spam comments as much as I am. What you may not know is that Blogger now has a feature called "Word Verification".

It works like this - if someone wants to leave a comment on your blog, before the comment is posted, the commenter must fill in a field with a word pictured in the comment box that looks something like this:

How does this help stop spammers? A lot of spammers use automated programs to post comments for them. These programs can't read the picture, so they're prevented from posting comments.

I've just turned this on for the Yoda blog and this blog. In order to turn this feature on for your blog, go to your Dashboard, choose your blog, go to Settings, then Comments, and next to Word Verification choose "Yes".

This won't stop every spammer as some of them do their dirty work manually, but it should lessen the spam significantly.

Some REAL bad news!

BEFORE I BEGIN: I JUST POSTED A NEW OWEN: READ THAT FIRST! I hate to do this to all the faithful...But tomorrow night (08-20-05) will be the first time that I do not post a new Owen entry. The reason for this is simple: I will be in Universal Studios with the fam until Sunday night. I realize that most of you will not find this kind of excuse permissable, but I implore you to consider two things: I usually post every single day, and I'm handsome! Much more than Typho, or Billy Dee Williams, or Samuel Jackson...the list goes on and on. I really don't think the hotel we're staying in provides laptop computers, (cheap bastards), so I'm not really hopeful that I can blog from Orlando.

I realize that many of my followers will have withdrawal symptoms, so I decided to grant you a simple reprieve: I think that tomorrow's blog should be a classic, "encore presentation". I implore everyone to re-visit the post entitled, "Shmi's corpse", dated Thursday, June 16, 2005. It's in the archives, and if you're savvy and diligent enough, you'll find it in past posts. Consider this post a rerun. Many of you probably haven't read it, so it'll be new to you. Please read it, as new. It won't interfere with the current storylines. That's part of the reason I chose it.

The truth remains that I feel really bad about leaving you all without a Saturday evening blog post. Forgive me, I hope you will. I don't EVEN know who's going to disgust you tomorrow. I just hope that he's nasty as me!

Lars- out!

I just made this little graphic to post on my non-SW blog to link to my SW blog. Even though it says "Unplugged," I have it linking to my Just Padme blog, but obviously you will link it to your own blogs. Please feel free to right click and use this graphic on your own sites if you wish.

Guys, I know you are strictly Star Wars, but please look at my videos! It will only take five minutes, and you probally will laugh too. Also, when you get to the page, there is little stars and you should pick the top for me! Please. I know you guys will say stuff but please! I need fans. I know I should just wait patiently, but I have been doing my best and there is 30 likely fans right in front of me and why would I just let that go to waste?

What's with the flag button at the top of the nav. bar? Is that new?
Nice to know anyone could just come by and report your blog as questionable content.
...Look out! Big Brother is everywhere.

RSS Feeds

Duplicated from the SWU Forum:

Anyone using an offline news reader to keep up with all these blogs?? I found one for Windows called 'FeedReader' that is not too bad, and best of all it's free.

One of the features is that you can export your list of blogs to a file format called OPML which appears to be common among the various readers.I have taken the liberty of uploading the list of SW blogs to one of my web sites in the OPML format.

Here is the link:

Right Click, Select 'Save File' for OPML File

Click Here for Feed Reader Software

Problems with RSS Readers?

This is for Palps and anyone else using an RSS reader to follow these SW blogs:

Are you able to see all of blogs?

I'm using SharpReader and it can't read the Survivor: Tatooine blog or JJ's blog. It keeps telling me there are XML errors in the feed. It also had problems with Padme #1's blog, but since that one is no longer being updated, it's a moot point.

Less traffic= less satisfaction

Although it was great to see the Patriots lose tonight (I realize it's pre-season, but they still lost...and to a sorry team, at that -sorry, Matt-), I'm still disheartened by a lack of visits to my site, something that's evident when I check my counter hits and my comments. I feel discouraged by the recent turnout, mostly because I think the whole of StarWarsGeekDom doesn't understand my message, or is misinterpreting it.

I realize that I am new here, but I've made a REAL effort to keep up with, and comment on as many of your blogs as possible. In fact, I've spent so much time on said activities, that my wife is now leaving me for another man, one who, in her OWN words, doesn't blog SW! At the same time, I'm hurt and I'm elated. And Yet, I don't feel I get through to my own brethren!

Perhaps I'm nothing more than a mere accident; a freak coincidence of the mal-adjusted arm of fate. This same arm led me here, I thought, a very short time ago. But because I, like so many other shallow and "gifted" writers of years gone past, have experienced this same type of 'Peer rejection', I should probably stand fast and face the wrath of the unbelieving masses, those who desire not understanding, but exclusion. My heart sinks into my torso like an Olympic shot-put at the thought of not belonging here. Sadistic, the next few days will be...Hard to control, my bowels already are.

Tired, I have grown. Tired, baby...tired (Carlito's Way, 1993).

Lars- out, I guess.

Phishing Emails

This isn't really related to our blogging, but I thought it was important to share anyway:

I've been getting some "phishing" emails lately in my AskYoda email lately. Fortunately, I identified the email as phishing email right away and reported it as such to GMail. This is something to look out for, especially if your email address is embedded in your blog.

For those of you who don't know what a phishing email is - someone may send you an email that looks like it came from PayPal, or eBay, or your bank. In the email they tell you that your account has been terminated, or something similar. In order to reactivate your account, you need to click a link and fill in your identifying info. The link will usually go to a page that looks like it is part of,, etc., but it is really a page on the website of a scammer who wants to use your personal info to get to your personal wealth.

The important thing to remember is that no legitimate company will solicite your data this way. If you think it might be genuine, don't click the link in the email, but go directly to PayPal's website, or the website of your bank, etc. and check out your account status.

I encourage everyone who wants to use an email address on their site never to use their regular email address. Always use an anonymous web-based email address (Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail, etc.) instead. I'd be happy to send a GMail invite to anyone here who wants one.

Where are they now?

Just wondering,
I've not heard from Padme (from Padme's Diary, whose name eludes me at the mo') and Obi-Wan (Caz, me thinks) in a while. I'm a bit worried. Are you guys okay? Did I miss a 'going on holiday' post?
Also, I'm still brewing something new up. I'll post before the end of the month, I swear.

Next time on "Where are they now?," Art Garfunkle, Bananarama, and that other guy from Wham.

School, Oh Glorious School!

Ick. It has indeed started again for me, so I may not be updating quite as frequently. Just a heads up. :(

Your Permission Needed

In New Zealand, and I think Australia has one too, we have a magacine called NetGuide wich is published once every month and has a page devoted to blogs. I was wondering If you guys would like me to submitt this blog and the links to all our blogs to them? I didn't want to just send mine in cause it is nothing special but everyone's together is. So what do you say, yes or no?

Very, very important, personal question

I tell you, you fictional characters have it easy. Should I change my photo?

I mean, it's a cowboy fercryin'outloud.

Goose is cool, but it's not really me.

What should my photo be?

Anyone ever read about the term "younglings" - whether this is only used to refer to jedi padawans? I thought perhaps it referred to all children, but then remembered Anakin's scene after he slaughtered the sand people and he says "Not just the men, but the women and the children..." So there he uses the term "children" instead of the term "younglings." Any thoughts?

A New Direction?

I realize that I'm new here, but I've been at the Owen blog since June 10: that's a lifetime in the Blogosphere, when you post everyday! Anyway, it recently occurred to me, especially after yesterday's blog, that my character has truly gone to the dark side, yet this is not my intention. I always tried to keep my blog clean: free of sexual stuff, and the like, but I have recently detected a pattern, almost a cancer, that's acquired a foothold in my ongoing storyline. In lay terms, it's gotten pretty sick, lately. Owen is like a runaway monster that I can't seem to stop, and one that I'm not sure if I even want to stop. But I put up a new post tonight, with a new direction in mind. I would appreciate if you could all stop by, just to tell me what you think. Let me know if the monster should be stopped, or should be left alone. I look foward to your opinions, great Star Wars Bloggers!

Moff Tarkin

Just wanted to thank everyone for allowing me into this blog. I want to keep it short, so here it goes. My name is Matt, and I write as Moff Tarkin. I aim to keep my blog in the timeframe of Tarkin's acquisition of power when the Empire is brand new and the underside that comes to running it. I try to incorporate satirical politics, which I know some might find offensive, but I assure you it’s out of fun and no harm meant. I only have about 20 posts up now, and, if time allows with my hectic schedule, I will continue to post on a more regular basis. Thanks.

Infinite story!!!!!

New voting button

Hey, just to let those people on Survivor: Tatooine that there is now a new Voting link at the top of the sidebar. This should make things more easier when it comes down to voting.
By the by, still need Han's, Aayla's and Leia's votes. Once again both votes too close to call.

Come to the party!

I just put a quick post up on Just Padme's blog inviting you all to my party. Please feel free to run with this idea and think up some fun stuff for your own blogs...

Also, I can't stop thinking about this DNA thing Owen keeps talking about. I think this is a good opportunity for some of us to work together, link to each others’ blogs in our posts and maybe get some good traffic running through our blogs… One idea I’m thinking of is doing a series of posts where Padme auctions her DNA on ebay. I’m going to hold off on this until I get to the point in my “timeline” that Padme meets Owen. But that’s not too far off, so I want to start thinking about it and getting some feedback. If anyone has any ideas, let me know! You can email me at

Ah, the Sweet Aroma of Decapitation..

Wow...we have our own little neighborhood here, don't we?

15 / f / Somewhere in the United States of America (Ha! Find me now, stalkers!)

What made you decide to start a blog like this?

Well, I enjoy writing quite a bit, and I discovered quite a few blogs that had originated from Star Wars characters(such as The Darth Side). I adore Star Wars, in all its aspects. So it was pretty a win-win situation. I get to write, and I get to role-play one of my favorite characters; Darth Maul.

Why Darth Maul?

He's one of my favorite characters that seems to play only a small role in everything. Plus, his personality isn't displayed very much in Episode I, so I can do just about whatever I want with him. He says pretty much nothing with the exception of "Yes, Master.", so I thought I'd give people some insight on what he might think, do, or say, besides glaring menacingly at the camera. He also owns with his lightsaber.

When I post, I just write. That's all there is to it. An active imagination is what I like to call it. I've been basing my posts somewhat off of Episode I, and the way I think it should be portrayed. I plan on straying from the storyline quite a bit more later on, though.

Hm. How's that for being in a rush?

Until the dark side mauls again,

Now that schools about to start, I might have trouble keeping up with the blogs. (I know, who needs school when you can be a SW character?) Who else might be going through the same situation here?

Possible new person?

I've just come across someone new that may fit with our little / massive group.
Goes by the name of Darth Maul.
Glad Quiggy's made his peace, man.
Quibecca, who hasn't quite made her own peace yet

My obsession

I don't know if you all have seen this picture on one of my previous posts, but I do feel that it's worth a second look. The girl in the pic is my sister-in-law, Padme. As I'm sure you know, I'm about to clone her, but that doesn't mean you all have to be left out of the action. In fact, the Kaminoan gives me a "bulk" discount, which means we can all have our very own Padme! I'll start the bidding at 200 credits...

Any takers?

Think about it... your very own Padme. Raise her any way you'd like.

Lars- out!

Survivor: Tatooine -- 100th Post

I think the next post on Survivor: Tatooine will be the 100th post.

Should we mark the occasion in some way?

Hide your puffed pork

First, thank you Master Yoda for the invite. Just a little about me: I live on Tatooine, I'm very handsome, and my family's crap, especially that baby. They are very selfish and make me do everything. I'm almost always thirsty, too. Did I mention that I'm handsome? I actually look a lot like Joel Edgerton, the actor from that King Arthur movie. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. Thanks again.

Lars- out!

The "real" me is less interesting, but even more handsome than Owen.

Javie (pronounced J.V.) S.
32 y/o
Florida, USA
Lover of all things Star Wars. I can't tell you how much of me is in Owen, but I will tell you that I envy him in some ways. Wouldn't it be great to be that selfish and get away with it?

I am Padme, Hear Me Roar!

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am the "other" Padme.

36 / F / New Jersey, USA
Homeschooling Mom of two adorable younglings

What made you decide to start a blog like this?
The seed was planted after reading "The Darth Side." I originally called my blog Padme's Diary, but in my research I came across this group and saw that blog already existed. So I changed the name to Just Padme.

Why did you choose your particular character?
Obviously I like the character, but I see so much more in her than is shown in the movies. And it really pissed me off to see how she was portrayed in Ep III. So I have some ideas in mind to "explain" a few things! My original plan was to follow the story line of Ep II and the Clone Wars, then start the Ep III story line in November to coincide with the release of the DVD. Now that I've found this group, I'll do my best to play along with your story lines, too.

If you post often, where do get ideas?
From the movies. From your blogs. From everyday life. There's A LOT of me in Padme.

Personal goals?
Before becoming a mom, I was a professional writer/reporter. But I've never done fiction or humor before, so this is a challenge! I would like to one day write for profit again, so my goals are to keep my writing skills sharp and to get as many visititors as possible to both my blogs. My personal blog is here. Unlike Bill/Yoda, I DO have delusions of grandeur and fully expect that George Lucas might ask me to pen an EU novel in the future. ;-)

Survivor Votes and Ties

Okay. Well this has been an interesting voting session. I suppose I’ll let everyone in on what happens on something like this, should it happen again.

In case of a tie when voting, if there is time before the Sunday night deadline, we may try another vote. If it comes to the deadline and it’s a tie…then I flip a coin between the two people. Pure and simple, it comes down to chance.

You may notice reading the Survivor post that I had to improvise on the story a tiny bit on the Mabbitt vote. This is purely for storyline purposes.

This is how it really happened…

2 votes for Palps

2 votes for Obi-Wan

1 vote for Qui-Gon

Palps and Obi-Wan never voted.

As Sunday night was fast approaching, I thought I would contact the person who voted for Qui-Gon and ask if they would cast another vote (a deciding vote between the two tied people. The vote came back…Qui-Gon again.)

So I flipped a coin….and it came up tails (Obi-Wan) thus, determining that he would be voted off.

Maybe when the challenge is announced (and the winner posted in the SW forum) you can start sending in your vote for the Friday reading of the votes. This might help a little.

Sorry for the delay and the mix up. I’m sure thing will go more smoothly next time.

Update on Palps

Sorry for the delay in getting a post out, I've been focusing on my job search and it's chewing up more and more of my time. It's a good thing though, so I'm not complaining.

Anyway, I posted some more info on Palpatine/Sidious continuing troubles with his nanny, Tahara Jade.

Jedi Day (green day parody) need photoshop help.

Im not one of the fortunate ones with photoshop,so I need someone to do a photoshopping job for me.I was going to feature a band called "Jedi Day"on my blog and I need a pic with the bodies of green day and the heads of Qui,Obi,and Ani.If you can do this,I'd appreciate it (and I might even fing a good pic of your roleplaying charicter and post it on my blog if you do as a reward.;D) I'd like Ani as lead and electric, qui a bass, and obi at drums. Thank

Crossing my fingers,

I'm gonna need help for my next post. Does anyone know what a nerf is or what it looks like? They don't show them in the movies, do they?

Just a reminder

Im admin! Yay! So is yoda and Han. Maybe I should make everyone admin so it is fair. Because some things are not fair! Like you other guys not being admin! lets vote! I dont feel like looking around for an online poll so you guys just need to shout-out!

Survivor Heads Up

I just wanted to remind all the current contestants that this is a voluntary game. If you feel that it takes too much of your time to participate, (and boy, do I understand that) you may walk away at any time. I won't be offended. Honest! And you don't have to wait around until you're voted off either. (You won't hurt my feelings.)
Just please, please let me know if you want to drop out so that I can plan accordingly and perhaps speed things up a bit.

As for last week's challenge, great job. Drew, Michelle, Bill and Chris, great collaboration and some very funny posts.

Now one more thing, do we want to have another "both tribes vote" this week like we just had? Or do we want a "winner: prize/ loser: vote week?
Yup. It's another one of those polls again. I'll let you guys decide.
Those still in the game only need to vote.

Voting this week
Reward only/ both tribes go to tribal council again
Only the loser goes to tribal council this week

Yoda's 100th Post

The Saturday post on Yoda's blog will be his 100th. It won't be posted until late at night (as are most of my posts), so those of you in the US probably won't see it until Sunday morning. I get a headache trying to figure out international time zones, so I don't know when that will be for the rest of you. Maybe for you guys in New Zealand and Australia it was yesterday. What did I write, was it any good?

Anyway, I'm looking for ideas. I want to do something special for my readers, something interactive. I will be using a poll, and Eric/JJ suggested as a storyline that a suprise party be thrown for Yoda that almost kills him. That sounds funny, so I might use it.

Please, if you have any ideas, share them. I would like it to be a sort of thank-you note to my readers, including all of you guys. I think the quality of the posts on the Yoda blog tends to fluctuate, yet there is a solid core of loyal readers who seem to stick in there. So, I'm very appreciative.

I'm also thinking about changing the design of the blog, so I'm considering using a different template. I haven't found a free pre-made one yet that I like, and I haven't really found the time to build one myself. So, if you come across a free template on the Internet you think I might like, please feel free to point it out to me.

-Thanks guys and gals, for everything.

The "Michele" comments I've been getting...

Typho inquired, I think.

A fairly popular blog has a neat thing called a meet and greet over the weekends, if anyone has interest go to Michele's and look for the "Meet n' Greet" post.

It'll explain how it works.

Quick Apology

I just wanted to drop by here and make a quick apology for the lack of posts from me in the last few weeks. I got myself involved here right as my real life exploded with activity.

Hopefully, though, from here on out, I'll actually be present.

Thanks for being so patient with me, all!

Me: Tahl

I'm a nineteen year old college student who just finished finals. Sorry about the gap in blogging. I will make a sincere effort to post on a more regular basis. I'm also very shy and an Obi-Wan fan.

I really like Master Yoda's blog and I lurked around it for awhile. Then this community grew up around it and I wanted to be part of it. I got the idea for my character from Guinastasia's comment wondering if Yoda's next guest would speak in 1337. I chose Tahl because she after she went blind she did that research for Q/O and that seemed like a perfect opeining for hacking. The other option I toyed with was a clone commando. I'm working on Tahl's voice to be better at making fun of 1337 5p34l<3l25.

I'm really enjoying playing with all you guys. :) Anything else, just ask.

Aayla-I finished your portrait!

Remember the whole "ugly picture" thread, how I said I'd make you a portrait? I thought perhaps Barriss could "paint" Aayla's picture for her. So, I did it:

You don't mind, do you?

Jar Jar's situation

Should Jar Jar be rescued prior to this week's challenge?

I have something in mind for his rescue, but I don't to just put it up if anyone else has been working on something already and my posting his release stymies their work. I don't want anyone that has anything written to not have a chance to post it before I put mine up.

...or alternately, If someone else has the rescue written and finalized, then I can alter what I have along the lines of simply adding to the drama, and putting it in place before the plot is closed with that rescue used as the finish.

Holy Moly, did those questions make any sense? Much confusion I sense in my post...
