Moff Tarkin

Just wanted to thank everyone for allowing me into this blog. I want to keep it short, so here it goes. My name is Matt, and I write as Moff Tarkin. I aim to keep my blog in the timeframe of Tarkin's acquisition of power when the Empire is brand new and the underside that comes to running it. I try to incorporate satirical politics, which I know some might find offensive, but I assure you it’s out of fun and no harm meant. I only have about 20 posts up now, and, if time allows with my hectic schedule, I will continue to post on a more regular basis. Thanks.

Welcome, Moffy, glad to have you on board. It must have taken a lot of courage to come out of the closet; I have immense respect for you. Oh, wait- I'm thinking about someone else. Welcome, anyway.

Matt,

My Darth Sidious/Palpatine blog is a few years behind yours in the timeline, but you and I have already had a run in at the mall. ;-)

I have him in the timeline when he first 'acquires' Darth Maul, but was planning to bring it forward a couple of years at a time in the next few posts.

If you are interested, we should collaborate on a story line or two in the future.

Matt and Chris:

I came across an interesting tidbit about Typho's extended family. According to Wikipedia, Typho's uncle Panaka eventually becomes a Moff.

Captain Panaka is fiercely loyal to Palpatine, so hints about his uncle's increasing influence will probably show up in Typho's blog at some point.

I also read somewhere that it was Panaka that told Palpatine about Anakin and Padme's marriage on Naboo.

Thanks for the input everyone. Palps, I would be happy to collaborate, just let me know. I haven't quite figured out the direction my stoyline's going to head so any extra advice would be great.
