Survivor: The Final Four

File this under Shameless Plug Dept.

This fall on CBS (Coruscant Broadcasting System)…

After two and a half months and sixteen contestants it comes down to these final four…

Who will walk home with a million credits?!?!

Will it be…

Han Solo? The scoundrel with the will (not to mention stomach) of iron?

Qui-Gon Jinn? The force ghost with the most?!?

Master Yoda? That funky green riddle monkey?

Or Fluke Starbucker? The FotNJO wannabe millionaire wannabe?

Find out in the next couple of weeks as we further narrow it down to the final two and then…the sole survivor!!!

***

Now that the plug is done with, I got a question. What to do with determining who wins with the final two contestants. When I first started this, I thought the last nine people would compose of a jury and they would vote for the winner, but some of those people are not even blogging anymore.

I thought maybe it would be better if we opened up the voting to everyone who reads and has performed in the game. One huge vote to determine the winner. A kind of final audience (and contestant) participation. I’m leaning towards that direction but I just wanted to know what you guys think?

We may have to go the way of a big public vote if several in our jury aren't active anymore.

What happened to the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader? Did she get voted out?

I figured you'd have to open it up to readers anyway... even though Yodel'd be a shoo in at that point. With a quick link on his regular blog to steer traffic? - *WHAMMO*

votes galore.

Drewbucker has a point there. It may be unfair. That is, if I actually make it to the final 2.

Maybe we could put the poll in the forum and just let SWU members vote?

The SWU-only poll sounds fair.

How do you verify that people have only cast one vote?

Oop! I did make a silly assumption there, huh, Biloda?

pollhost can be set to only accept one vote - but it's on a per IP address basis.

The final vote could be done in the SWU in the PM's - "Personal Messaging" That way, Jeric gets each member's vote, and members cannot vote twice, because they all are trackable.

...and what DID happen to the cheerleader, anyhoo?

Sounds like a good Idea Bill & Drew. I think that might be the best course to go.
Personal Messaging being trackable is a good idea.
And with 30+ people, more than enough to vote over a week's time.

Oh, and the cheerleader...
well, let's just say she was scared off when Palps first sported his thong. She ran screaming into the desert...hasen't been seen since.
....sad.

I have been entertained by the game and am willing to vote for the final winner. And, as is tradition in Chicago, I will vote early and vote often.

I have an offer to make. If you have been reading my blog you will know I have a new resort ship.

Now just as a suggestion how about I offer a free week stay there to the winner along with the million credits. Or it could be for the final 2 or what ever.

It's just a suggestion. Its kind of fun doing the interaction with other characters.

It's up to everyone else if you want this. I think it will be a cool idea--but that's just me.

Sorry Been here for a long time just reading. Just wanted to comment on this.

"pollhost can be set to only accept one vote - but it's on a per IP address basis."

I believe AOL users get a different ip everytime the sign on. So they could vote a number of times.
