Thanks and Apologies

I just wanted to say to all of my fellow blogers and contestants of Big Brother: Naboo first: thank you for the warm response to the Amazing Jawa Tales comic, and second: that I am sorry.

When I decided to do such a venture, I did not mean to make anyone feel like ‘gee I can’t compete with this guy’. That was never my intention. I’ve wanted to do some comic thing with J.J. for quite a while and the opportunity just happened to come up with the pirates.

I enjoy reading all of your blogs (and wish there were more hours in the day to do just that). Your posts make me smile and laugh and give me inspiration. But I’ll try to tone down my posts a bit for the sake of the game. (Not like I have the time or energy to do something like that again any time soon)

Anyhoo, thanks again.

Seriously Eric, I would be surprised if any of us feel "we can't compete." For me, it's not really about competing - it's just all fun and practice for my writing. I do it because I love it and when I see a really awesome post, I am inspired, not discouraged. You're an excellent artist and writer and you should absolutely be proud and make the most of it.

I've been inspired by you! There's are so few that can make me laugh and cry at the same time.

It was nice to see something fresh and different, and I hope your sake, that you keep it up!

Everyone here has a different style, so don't hold back!

What everyone else said (easy for me to say) For a JJ post , that one was right up there with "that suck mynock ass" comic. Don't feel bad because you show talent, feel bad cuz you live in Portland :)

Don't scale back!

When one of us does something like that, it encourages the rest of us to do better! Further, the overall quality of the blog goes up. I'm glad you did that post.

I realized this might've been triggered by my comment on that post.

The truth is, I did feel pressure to strive for excellence after reading the Action Jawa post. But that is the good kind of pressure. It's the kind of pressure that forces you out of complacency and to do better than "good enough", or sometimes better than what you thought was your best. I thank you for it.

Please keep it up.

Looks like you took a lot of time with it. That's a Star Wars hall of fame post if there ever was one.

I very much like what Typho said.

Also, now that you've made your work public, I can rip it off for the next challenge, heh heh heh.
