Trouble With New Blogger

A few people have emailed me wanting to be added to this blog, but when I sent out the invites they couldn't join because SW: Unplugged was still on the old Blogger and their accounts were tied to the new Blogger.

With some misgivings I decided to attempt to upgrade Star Wars: Unplugged.

Well, it didn't quite work.

Typho's blog was the only blog on my Dashboard that got updated. Every other blog on my dashboard -- all team blogs -- are still on the old Blogger. I'm not sure how to proceed. The problem seems to be that there are multiple admins.

Any thoughts? Has anyone here successfully updated a team blog?

I have. The Jedi Temple was like that. Eveer memeber has to be on the same kinda blogger. Try to get everyone to switch and it should work.

I think only the creator can update this blog

as in the one who created it in the first place..

DJK, there's no way I can get over 50 people to switch to the new Blogger. Only a fraction of the members are still around, but there's some sensitivity surrounding deleting people from the Blog Roll and contributors' list. People take it personally when they get dropped.

Vampy, I think you're right. Unfortunately, the original creator of this blog is no longer an admin.

All: We can leave the blog the way it is, but if we do so, I've already discovered that we can't add any new members.

Would the people who still are part of this blog object to migrating to a new blog? I've got three people who want to join, but can't. I'm open to suggestions.

I tried contacting them already, but they haven't responded.

I read that help file and it looks to me like all of the admins have to switch. That's a problem in this case since most of them are long gone. I'll email them and see if they respond.

Hey, long time no talk (Ive been lurking) - just upgraded my account at Michelle's request, hope this works as the main part of the blog is for Star Wars bloggers to meet.

Happy blogging!

I've upgraded.

I wonder how many of us inactive bloggers still lurk around here like Jonathan and me.

I feel like the creepy twenty-something who hangs around his old high school ;)

I've updated to the new blogger. I'm still around and hoping to post again someday... but life is getting in the way. ;-)

My opinion is that those who are not around and/or unwilling to upgrade don't really have the right to complain if they get removed from the team blog.

I'll probably go through the same thing with Dex's Diner when I upgrade it. I've even been considering deleting that blog altogether...
