Well, the poll has been up for a week. Only 14 votes were cast, so I guess that's all that's left of the old gang. The overwhelming majority want to migrate to a new version 2 blog.

I will start sending out invites to http://starwarsunplugged.blogspot.com tonight.

UPDATE: As people migrate to the new blog I will close their accounts on this blog. The goal is to make this blog an archive and encourage new activity to take place on the version 2 blog. Let me know if you have any objections.

Pet owners were worried Saturday that the pet food in their cupboards could be deadly after millions of containers of dog and cat food sold at major retailers across North America were recalled.

Menu Foods -- a major manufacturer of dog and cat food sold under Wal-Mart, Safeway, Kroger and other store brands -- recalled 60 million containers of wet pet food Friday after reports of kidney failure and deaths.

An unknown number of cats and dogs suffered kidney failure and about 10 died after eating the affected pet food, the company said in announcing the North American recall.

Poll: We Can't Upgrade This Blog. What Should We Do?

We can unfortunately no longer add any new members to this blog. Anyone who has a Blogger ID created under version 2 is locked out. I’ve tried to add three people and it fails each time.

Even though the Star Wars: Unplugged admins have all upgraded their Blogger accounts to the new Blogger, this blog remains a version 1 blog. I thought that would do the trick, but it didn’t work.

So, we have a few choices which I’d like the members to vote on.

Create a new version 2 blog and send out invites to everyone to rejoin.
Contact the original creator of the blog, add him back as an admin, and see if that will allow us to upgrade.
Leave the blog the way it is with the membership frozen.
Other options? Please explain via comment.

Please take the time out to vote. I prefer option one, which is quick and painless, but let me know what you’d like to do.

Trouble With New Blogger

A few people have emailed me wanting to be added to this blog, but when I sent out the invites they couldn't join because SW: Unplugged was still on the old Blogger and their accounts were tied to the new Blogger.

With some misgivings I decided to attempt to upgrade Star Wars: Unplugged.

Well, it didn't quite work.

Typho's blog was the only blog on my Dashboard that got updated. Every other blog on my dashboard -- all team blogs -- are still on the old Blogger. I'm not sure how to proceed. The problem seems to be that there are multiple admins.

Any thoughts? Has anyone here successfully updated a team blog?

Up early getting the pies ready for Thanksgiving dinner today. I had so much help yesterday, ya right. Harvey managed to drop the pie's that I had ready onto the floor where Gar-Gar was more than happy to clean them up for us. I knew I may regret letting DJK have him here, but he makes her happy and the rest of us - well we get some humor out of him. I have invited some of our friends to the Jedi Temple, well maybe not friends but more like employers.... Jaba in other words will be here. I invited a certain clone trooper to, cuz I thought he was cute. He goes by the name TAK, not sure why. I invited Holg and the Huntress in memory of Noel and Jon IG. I cant name everyone right now but I will give a complete report in the morning. That is if I survive this day. Now I must go get the main course "ready" for dinner - he likes to get "dressed" so here goes nothing!!!

A New Sith...

Since my master took me on years ago, I continued to live the spartan life of a Jedi -- and continued to stay with my Jedi browns and creams. But with the recent turn of events and the death of my own master, I decided to update my wardrobe and all around image.

I headed for the fashion district where I was sure I would be able to find something for everyone -- even me. The search was long and I grew tired of seeing the standard wear for Senators and their spouses -- the places obviously catered to those crowds. Obviously those that weren't Senators, wanted to dress like them. My search ended up taking me to a small, out of the way fashion designer. After seeing some of the items he had made for others, I knew I had found the place.

He knew immediatley that I was a force-sensitive (how he knew, I never asked), but after extensive discussions and drawings, he came up with something suitable that properly displays my assets while no longer screaming 'Jedi'.

The wait was long, but entirely worth it -- I hope you like it as much as I am enjoying my new image.

First of all I want to thank those who participated in the party at Sky City. I also want to say that no matter what happens with Noel, Sky City is still open. So if you need a place to lay low, hang out, or just have fun, go to Sky City.

As for Noel, I'm not sure what will happen. If I do decide to give her up, I promise you I (myself) won't leave. I'll always be around reading blogs and hanging out in the forums. I haven't really decided what I want to do just yet.

But I am thinking about doing a Diary blog of Noel's. I started a few posts early on, but since a lot of you are new, I'm sure not everyone has read them yet. This blog will be written as diary entries and be about Noel's childhood. And as with the above topic, I haven't fully decided yet.

What I've Been Up To

I know I promised a "surprise" on the Yoda blog, and to rewrite Episode III on Bill Johnson's Blog. I was hoping to get all that done by the time I was to launch my new website, but it didn't happen. Unfortunately (or fortunately in some cases), I became real busy with work just as I finished MasterYodasBlog. I was promoted, which entailed a lot of training. There were other things that happened, but basically I've just let life get in the way. Hopefully, I'll get back to that stuff.

Anyway, it is now time to launch my new website/blog, and I wanted to tell all of you first - TVChicken.com has now been launched! So far, there is only one post from yesterday regarding the first episode of Survivor. But tonight I will start posting a bunch of TV-related news on a daily basis. About Me.

If it would be alright with everyone, I would rather not share most of my personal stuff. I don't want to seem rude or anything, it's just I don't feel right sharing this info (at this time).

I will tell you that I am female, mid twenties, and live in the U.S. I'm sure with time I will share more, just not right away. :-)

Why did you choose your particular character?

I was thinking about starting one for awhile now, but wasn't sure what character to do. And I didn't really want a major character.

I guess it was the fact that there are no Ewoks in the group. Plus an Ewok seems pretty easy to write about. I have to admit tho, I don't know that much about Ewoks. I read some stuff on- line about them before I started the blog. I'll try and capture Ewok life as best as I can, but there is no guarantees.

And I like the name Emma, Plus it sounds like a good Ewok name. :-)

What made you start a blog?

I started because I seen how much fun everyone was having with their blogs, and all the interaction between people. I kind of wanted to join in on that fun. Plus I have always liked writing stories and stuff.

I know that I haven't posted that often as I wanted to, but I have been pretty busy with my jobs and other work I do. But I'll be switching to just one job within a few weeks. Then I will have more time to write and comment in my blog and the forums.

Where do you get ideas for your blog?

Well since I just started I have a lot of ideas already planed out. I may try something with clones, since they fear Ewoks for some strange reason.

I am also hoping to get Emma off the planet at some point. Not sure how to yet, but I'm sure something will pop up. Then she can write about adventures on other planets.

I Finally Did It....

I've been wanting to change the template on my blog for some time now. However, I never seemed to have the time to sit down and figure it out (you know, always out hunting down Jedi for my master -- it's a full-time job you know).

Having been inspired by the blogs I've seen in this group (and some of the makeovers), I finally took several hours this evening and just did it. Go take a look at it and let me know what you think.

It never seems to fail, when I have stuff planned for myslef to complete Jaba always has somthing else for me to do... I had no more than got the padawans fed and cleaned up than Jaba came in completly bent out of shape - even for a Hutt, they really dont have a shape ya know...anyway he wanted me to help him put the moter back into this antique speeder.....

By the time I got done helping him with that I was grease from head to high heeled toe. It was so hot. We are in the middle of a heat wave here and who knows when it is going to end. I got back to the Jedi Temple and all washed up, got lunch ready for the padawans, got a crayon out of Harveys ear, fed Bob and was just going to try to get the Jedi robes cleaned when Jaba came in again. I am really starting to hate hearing my name called, because it always means more work for me. Anyway, we had to "make hay" for Bob the Bantha - I had told Yoda I would take care of him and Jaba said that he would "supervise", I mean help... (ever seen a Hutt try to bale hay - not pretty) So in 102 degree heat I got to do this ALL afternoon.

So, 600 bales of straw were put into the barn for Bob to sleep on this winter. Needless to say the poor padawans got cheese sandwichs and tomato soup for supper. It is still hot today and I am hoping that my fathers debt to Jaba will be paid off soon.. I am off to clean the training room, if I can drag my butt that far with out making a furrow.

He won me in a game of chance from my father, I am in his debt and must care for the younglings at the Jedi Temple (the Jedi Knights are worse than the children)This is my boss and if you need me for anything he's the guy to talk to....

What made you start a blog like this?

I have another blog, one you know. Originaly, I have to blame Master Yoda.

My Character:

My character is a "what if". What if Anakin defeated Obi-Wan on Mustafar and never ended up in the suit. I'm still working on the direction I want to go with this. My posts will be slow at first till I figure things out. I thought about going a bit funny with it, but we'll have to see. Suggestions are allways welcome.

Uuuh... I am coming out with a movie that is longer than the rest of the movies I make on the internet. It is called: "CARDBOARD KNIGHT: THE MOVIE THAT IS LONGER THAN THE REST OF THE MOVIES HE MAKES ON THE INTERNET"

So um. For the movie, there will be an insignificant plot. All it will be is random events. SO to my point. I really want you guys to post as many random FUNNY events you can think of. If it makes me laugh, I'll put it in the movie. If it doesn't make me laugh, I'll still put it in the movie. The only way I couldn't put an idea into the movie is if it would be too haard to do. Moneywise. I CANNOT USE SPECIAL EFFECTS. So keep that in mind. I can however, have music in it. SO please post comments with your ideas on this post... please.... Heh...

Greetings, good to meet you all.
I am known as Happy Mask Saleswoman. I am less than 21 years old. I can read and write Aurebesh and, contrary to tradition, I prefer the prequels to the old Star Wars trilogy.
I came across Shaak Ti's blog a long time ago when it was run by Cardboard Knight and thus discovered Star Wars: Unplugged. I made lots of stupid comments on various blogs, then decided to take over Shaak's blog as it wasn't being updated all too often. So I registered, then neglected to post for a month due to being somewhat busy and extremely lazy, but now post often enough just like any ordinary good blogger at this here blog, 'Shaak II'. Go there and read all my posts if you like.

So... what else to say?

My Character

The Sith are far more complicated than they would have you believe. The Jedi try to convince everyone that we are simply evil, when that couldn’t be farther from the truth. We simply believe in an ordered existence – something the Jedi also hold in high regard. The biggest different is that they feel they must deny themselves much of the pleasures of life to be at one with the Living Force, where as the Sith embrace pleasure as a natural part of life.
